We are delighted to share that Parentsactive has been awarded funding from the Earls Court Community Fund by The Earls Court Development Company!
Nandini, our CEO & Director, and Nighat, our Parent Carer Advocate, were presented with the award at the cheque-giving event on Wednesday 10th September. We are incredibly proud to receive this support, which will enable us to expand our work, reach more parents, and empower them to become strong advocates for their children’s rights, needs, and futures.
This grant reflects Parentsactive’s ongoing commitment to supporting families of children and young people with SEND. It will go towards recruiting a dedicated Parent Carer Advisor, who will work directly with families of children and young people with disabilities in the Earls Court area.
We already provide vital advocacy support for the most vulnerable parents in our community—helping them access their rights in education, housing, health, and social care. Thanks to this new funding, we are now able to extend this essential service to even more families in the Earls Court area.
