Since 2021/22, Parentsactive has received funding from the Northwest London ICB to deliver wellbeing projects for families of children and young people (up to 18) who live in, or are registered with a GP in, Hammersmith & Fulham.
Our aim is simple: to support parents and carers to look after their own physical and mental health so they can better support their children.
Over the past few years, we’ve delivered a range of wellbeing activities from group exercises, boxercise sessions to psychoeducation workshops in partnership with organisations such as HFEH Mind, Chelsea Football Club Foundation among others. These programmes have supported dozens of families to connect, unwind, and focus on their physical and mental health.
2025 Wellbeing Programme
With new funding secured for this financial year, Parentsactive will be launching a fresh round of wellbeing sessions in early 2026. The upcoming programme aims to provide parents and carers with time and space to focus on their own wellbeing. Planned activities may include:
- Counselling or emotional support sessions
- Relaxation and mindfulness workshops
- Walk and Talk meetups in local parks
Details of how to take part will be shared soon. Please check back here or follow our updates for more information.
