We are hosting a Puberty & Growing Up (10 – 11.15 am) session with the School Nursing Team. In light of Hammersmith & Fulham’s SEND Local Area Inspection, this session will be followed by a drop-in support session to help parent carers access and complete the online inspection survey if needed (11.15 am – 12.30 pm).
The session will focus on puberty and adolescence, exploring how to support children and young people with SEND through this stage of life. It will cover physical and emotional changes before, during and after puberty, and offer practical advice to help your young person understand what is happening.
This is a helpful opportunity to gain reassurance, understand what to expect as your child grows, and feel more confident having conversations about these changes. There will also be time to ask questions and speak informally with the team.
