Wellbeing Launch Event – 4th Feb

1–2 minutes

We are delighted to invite parent carers to join us for the launch of the Parentsactive Wellbeing Programme, funded by North West London ICB. This programme has been designed to support parent carer wellbeing through a range of accessible, supportive opportunities running throughout the year.

The launch event will introduce the programme and give you the chance to meet the organisations we are working with to deliver holistic, meaningful wellbeing support. We are pleased to be launching a new collaboration with West London Action for Children (WLAC). WLAC has supported families across West London since 1917 and brings extensive experience in counselling children, families and parent carers. As part of this funding, WLAC will be partnering with Parentsactive to deliver individualised therapy sessions for parent carers.

You will also hear from Community Massage London, a social enterprise offering complementary therapies to support wellbeing and health. Community Massage London is committed to tackling inequality and supporting marginalised communities through holistic, personalised approaches to therapy. We are aiming to partner with them in the summer term to offer massage and complementary therapies to parent carers.

Joining us on the day will also be:

  • Hammersmith, Fulham, Ealing and Hounslow Mind (HFEH Mind) – an independent charity delivering mental health services for over 30 years, including counselling, advice and information.
  • NHS Talking Therapies – a free self-referral service for adults aged 18+ offering support with anxiety, low mood, stress, and managing thoughts and feelings. The team will also lead a short, practical mini workshop during the event.

Together, these partnerships form a holistic approach to parent carer wellbeing, offering emotional, practical and therapeutic support.
