Parentsactive will be holding an online informative session on the Schools White Paper and proposed SEND reforms, to help parents understand the proposed changes being suggested and how to feed into the national consultation.
The session will support parents to learn more about the planned reforms and share their experiences, views, and concerns, which will help shape Parentsactive’s parent carer forum response to the consultation which ends on the 18th May 2026.
We will be joined by Peter Haylock, Director of Education and SEND for Hammersmith and Fulham, who will give an overview of:
- The proposed SEND reforms and timelines
- What is currently being consulted on
- How families can give their response to the consultation.
We will also be joined by Eric Dwyer from the Educational Psychology Service at Hammersmith and Fulham and James Boylan from H&F SENDIASS.
There will be time for discussion and questions, and parents are encouraged to discuss and have their say while the proposals are still being considered. Please join whether you’re new to the SEND journey or have lots of experience – all are welcome, and your presence is valued for this important session.
