Parent carers are invited to join us on Thursday 2nd July, from 10am-12pm, for an informative and supportive session focused on preparing young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) for adulthood and life after 16. This event will explore post-16 education and training options, legal rights and entitlements, access to health and social care services, and planning for greater independence.
Delivered in partnership with legal specialists Tally& Associates Legal Firm, the session will provide guidance, helpful information, and opportunities to ask questions about navigating the transition from childhood to adult services. Whether you are planning for the near future or looking ahead, this workshop aims to help families feel more informed and confident about supporting their young person through the next steps.
