Supporting young people with SEND to thrive online and offline.
Parentsactive is collaborating with West London Mind to deliver a workshop for parent carers of children and young people with SEND on Tuesday 8th September, 10am-12pm at the Masbro Centre.
West London Mind is an independent charity that has been providing mental health services and support to the local community for over 30 years, including counselling, advice, information, and wellbeing programmes. They will delivering this workshop focusing on supporting parents to understand digital wellbeing, healthy screen use, and managing social connections both online and offline. It will also explore practical strategies for recognising and managing anxiety linked to screen use.
The session aims to give parent carers the tools to support their young people to stay connected safely and confidently, while recognising the unique experiences and needs of young people with SEND.
